Issy has always been interested in education and realized her calling as a teacher while assistant teaching at a boarding school in the UK during her gap year. Issy's passion for teaching was cemented after working as a mentor for high-needs, homeless young men in Bolivia during her semester abroad. After receiving her A.B. in Sociology in 2016, Issy joined the Harvard Teacher Fellows Program as one of its founding members. This year, Issy will be working as a tenth-grade History Teacher at Uncommon Preparatory High School in Brooklyn, New York.
