The Harvard Teacher Fellows provides an innovative pathway into teaching for Harvard College seniors and alumni committed to making a positive impact in high-need urban schools.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-racism at HTF

HTF trains all Fellows to work as anti-racist educators in our nation’s schools. Our Fellows and alumni work in schools that serve mostly students of color, first-generation students, undocumented students, and students from low-income backgrounds. DEI and Anti-racism is a throughline across the many components of the HTF Fellow experience, such as coursework, fieldwork, classroom coaching, faculty advising, professional development, and affinity group spaces. We believe that by committing to this work our Fellows will be better teachers for their students because they are working towards a more just and equitable society.
