Only Harvard College seniors and alumni are eligible to apply to Harvard Teacher Fellows. Applicants will be required to submit the following materials in the online application:
Two letters of recommendation—one from a Harvard College professor or TF and one from someone who can speak to your personal qualities and potential for teaching. As part of the online application, you will be prompted to submit the name and contact information of your recommenders; they will receive an email with instructions as to how to submit their letter online.
Personal statement that addresses how your personal and academic experiences have motivated and prepared you to teach in high-need secondary schools. Your statement should be double-spaced, minimum 11-point font, and a maximum of 1,000 words in length.
Evidence of coursework alignment with Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's subject-matter requirements:

Copy the list of subject-matter requirements for your desired teaching grade(s) and discipline(s).
Under each requirement, list the college courses and AP credits you have earned that address the requirement; also list any relevant courses that you are taking during the fall of 2017 or intend to take during the spring of 2018.
Once all applications have been reviewed, HTF will invite selected applicants to participate in required interviews. Applicants will have an individual interview and an in-person group interview. In order to be accepted, applicants must attend the in-person group interview.
