Rebecca Park graduated in 2016 with an A.B. in American History and Literature. At Harvard, she also taught theater to local elementary schoolers. Rebecca is a member of the founding cohort of the Harvard Teacher Fellows and is thrilled to be spending her residency year teaching twelfth-grade Global Issues at the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice in Brooklyn, New York. Rebecca decided to teach because it allows her to combine her passions for history, social justice, and working with young people, and because she is committed to quality public education for all students. Through HTF, Rebecca is looking forward to learning how to create community and curriculum in her classroom that inspires, challenges, and educates every one of her students.
