Teaching Residency: Honors Civics, Manual High School-Denver
Jon joins Harvard Teacher Fellows after studying Social Studies with a focus on theories of intelligence in American society and K-12 schooling. As a Fellow, he is working at Manual High School in Denver, Colorado, where he will be teaching 11th grade Honors Civics. This course will explore the main tenets of America's constitution and uncover the factors that influence elections through classroom election simulations. In addition, students will compete this fall in the We The People constitution competition. Jon is most excited to have conversations with students and their families to discover students’ academic motivations.
